Have you planned any big storylines for your series? Has it been executed yet? How much thought goes into it? Why was this storyline so vital/necessary/important to showcase in your series, what significance does it have to you or perhaps, the characters?

I've planned two one for this season the Cape Crusader mystery killer and one for next season, the one for next season hasn't really come full circle yet but it is huge.

The Cape Crusader is hugely impartant because it effects my lead female on the show and many others. The Cape Crusader took months of preperation to move forward with it.

Just yesterday actually, I finished plotting out the upcoming Somerset Stalker storyline. I announced a while back there was an upcoming stalker but I had no idea who it was going to be - I had about four or five possible characters.

I finally figured out who the stalker was going to be on Good Friday and just yesterday plotted the final sequence of events that will lead to the big reveal.

It will actually start this Friday when SS gets back to its regular posting schedule. Something happens in the episode that is stalker related...but its not revealed that this certain event was part of the Somerset Stalker's plan until later on.

I don't know that this storyline is so much vital or important; it’s just something that I always wanted to do in one of my series. The way I've plotted it, it will affect quite a few of my characters, I think at last count it was about nine who would be the main targets. I've also used it to intensify the bad relationships between characters like Stuart and Cain or Amy and Jane. There's lots of accusations, fear etc. The storyline goes on for quite a bit and I've planned many twists and turns and hopefully *fingers crossed* the readers won't have any idea who the actual stalker is until the final weeks.

It does though answer some of the questions that were quickly brushed aside in the very first episodes of SS. It all kind of comes full circle. So hopefully it'll be something you like.

I've been working on a storyline for H&S for quite some time now that will involve the entire canvas. The foundations for the storyline are being laid already even though it wont kick in until season 3. A lot of the new characters coming to the series will end up involved in the storyline that will occupy the whole of season three and will leave the Sterling family torn apart and pave way for a new era of H&S.

Although it is technically one storyline, it will have many sub-storylines going on at the same time which will all contribute to the huge climax. I was starting to realize how Sterling central the series was becoming and that some of my other characters were becoming neglected so I thought that the best solution was to break up the Sterlings and have them all interact with other characters. This storyline seems like the perfect way to do it as it will change the canvas forever.

I cant give too much away but basically I'm thinking of giving it the running title of "The Fall of the House of Sterling", or something along those lines, if that gives you any ideas. Basically it will see the powerful and well respected family gradually torn apart due to various events such as Joseph and Diane's attempts to steal Sterling Enterprises from Kendall, Leo's philandering ways (which are set to get worse), the breakdown of Greg and Carrie's marriage, Megan's past coming back to haunt her as well as a secret buried deep in John's past involving the Abbots surfacing. Eventually the family will turn on each other and slowly tear each other apart. It is going to be great, I promise.

It will involve the discovery of at least one long lost lovechild for a certain Sterling family member as well as a shocking turn of events that will not only tear apart the Sterlings, but will also have huge repercussions for the Abbots. Josh will play a huge part in this storyline too and it will position him as a major character in the series, as will Jessica.

The storyline will also see a few departures, although I cannot say who at this time.

A
xx

Okay,I can't give to much away but with Almost Golden, the main story involves these characters:
-Anthony Winslow
-Victoria Reid-Winslow
-Daniel Downs
-Eve Downs
-Bailey Winslow

And one of them has a secret that will wreak the lives of all the characters involved with the story as well as the others who aren't in the story

With AG, only being 10 episodes per season, the pace moves fast, and the season ends with the person with the secret revealing the secret to everyone listed above, during a rainstorm.

I have many big storylines, but none of them has occured yet, since I just kind of started writing my soap opera, so nothing big is really going on at the moment. However, I have been coming up with storylines for all my characters since I first began writing my soap opera, but I'm still deciding whether or not I want to bring it to light. biggrin.gif

Well currently on Divisions, I've got the Saga of Lysa going on as Maggie and Conner go searching for her in Mexico. But I also have Chad's trial getting ready to start up as well. Oh and a custody case will start later on as well, over baby Isabella.

I am laying down the ground work for a storyline for season five, and even stuff for further down the line. I think that's the key, laying the ground work and giving off some big pay offs and big shocks throughout.

As for Ginger Falls, a lot of big things are going to be happening. Like what the heck is up with Pam and Eva looking alike, and Abigail's future, will she stay or will she move to Dallas?
