Hi everyone,
If you have been to the MOOL website in the last week, you probably noticed a new episode was up. I've just been kind of slow at getting the official release up with everything else going on. This marks the second episode of Web Series Writing Month, which was largely re-written between scenes being added or re-shot. I'm aiming to restart my own episode commentaries again, so keep tuned to my blog within the next week or two. ![]() In this episode,
Happy reading, and if you have anything to say, good or bad, be sure to post below. The next episode will be out sometime in November, and will focus primarily on Samantha Lombard's funeral. Hey Ty,
Wow what a nice read this was! I throughly enjoyed the scenes with Darron and Wildin ... and almost want to see them reunite on some level. They just seem so natural together. Playful, fun and sexy on a level where they were trying not to be sexual. They were my favorite part of the episode. Juliet should be nervous about their relationship, IMO ... and I loved Darron's verbal attack on Akeria. Turning the tables on her was brillant. I loved the last part of the episode where she had to watch Roy sleep to regain her composure. It's so nice that Darron was able to truly rock her to the core. Mitchel and Sandy ... Mitchel not being able to forget Sandy's face while Akeria trying to seduce him was nice. I'm glad she was able to pick up on some kind of resistance. It'll be interesting to see where this goes coming forward. I'm assuming that shower he took was a cold shower after rejecting Akeria, but thinking of Sandy none the less. Vanessa and the press was great. I loved how she blamed Danielle for the press getting wind of her drugging Danielle. I was a little shocked that others were suggesting that both could still working for the same company ... to me it only makes sense that one of them would not work there anymore. I'm glad Danielle has seemingly quit, although I wouldnt be surprised to see the reversal happen in the next episode where Danielle stays and Vanessa is let go. A very enjoyable read Ty. Well done on the new episode! Well, now that the mega Halloween issue is out of the way, I can finally respond to your comments, Dallas. I'm thrilled to see that the episode was to your liking. On the Widlin/Darron/Juliet front: As one of the few stories still in accordance with my outline, I can without a doubt say there is no reunion in sight for Darron and Widlin. I definitely like their dynamic as friends, especially considering their very contrasting background. He was the first one she trusted to tell about the accidental nightmare that resulted in her killing a man in self-defense, so I think that has always been a bonding moment for the couple. So I agree with you, Juliet should be worried now that Darron's anger has sort of lifted because there are still feelings between these two people. As for the scene between Darron and Akeira, definitely one of my favorite scenes of the episode as it reminds everyone that Darron isn't this perfectly nice guy. He's lied, conned, cheated to get places in life, and serving time in a state prison toughens you and lowers your patience for people like Akeira, who are always trying to stir the pot. Expect more interaction between these two as the season comes near an end. Mitchell and Sandy: I think the shower was more or less the wash away the filth after his morning work out since apparently he didn't use the showers at the gym. I don't think it's much of a secret that Mitchell is in love with Sandy, but she broke his heart when she was unable to remember him or what they shared after the shooting. Even more so when she expressed she had no desire to since at the time, she and her sister had come to some sort of amicable resolution -- remembering Mitchell and the affair that turned her sister against her would hurt that. So Mitchell found solace with Akeira, who knows that he still has feelings for Sandy, but Mitchell has assured her that he can handle those feelings and that he's committed to her and Roy. Only time will tell, however. Vanessa/Danielle/Lucien: The episode you are writing for the Writer Swap [I've been preparing the outline over the last few days to no avail, but will have something to you by this weekend] will have Danielle explaining her reasons for not quitting. Vanessa is under contract, and Michelle isn't going to fire her because of her involvement with the start-up of H&B Fashions, and the fact that her contract is now in effect. And you know Vanessa isn't going to quit, she'd rather see Danielle out first. Incidentally, this modeling storyline was supposed to fade away after the fashion show, but because of a change in gears in the storyline, I'm now stuck with it for at least the rest of the season. Thanks for all the nice comments. Next episode is completely focused on Samantha's funeral, and will hopefully by all rights, be out by the end of November.
