In the first episode of a special two part event, Oakridge's finest gather for the hospital fundraiser. Will learns the hard way that there's no such thing as a no-strings one night stand, while Megan struggles to cope with being away from the girls.

When a blackout hits Oakridge, Ashley discovers the truth about Tyler, while Kristen is forced to face up to her feelings and the mystery woman following Nate is finally revealed.

AMAZING!!!!! One word for this. The plot and the cliffhangers.

Shane/Kristen/Greg: I honestly CANNOT wait for when Shane finds out what happened between Greg and Kirsten.

Nate/Felicia: What can I say? Total twist in the plot.

Alex/John/Grant: I love the hinting of a possible relationship between Alex & Grant? I really hope so, it's been a whil since Alex was in something big

Sharon/Will: The character of Sharon seems really interesting and the fact that she was MARRIED when she was with Will, just makes for good story.

Ashley/Tyler: I think it was time Ashley discovered the truth.

Overall a really solid episode Alan I love the set up and though not a fan of big events you pulled this off nicely.

Greg/Kristen/Shane-Though I am not a Greg fan at all, I would prefer Kristen with him opposed to drug dealer Shane. Good set up for this triangle in the series.

Ashley/Tyler- I loved how you set up for Ashley to find out the truth. It was about time and I hope she kicks his butt to the curb now.

Alex/John/Grant- I do love the set up here that you are going for as well, that being said I do want to see Alex/John work it out however.

Kyle/Taylor- I don't know why but the scene felt semi out of place with all of the other mystery and set up in the episode. But I did get to see a glance of a real couple talking about their issues like breaking up or staying together.

Leo/Natalie- So I am probably like the only H&S reader who really wanted them to be together, even though Leo had a lot of growing up to do. I enjoyed Natalie with Kyle, but overall I wasn't as pulled in by them. I hope that Leo is right and Natalie is making her way back home.

Sharon/Wil and Nate/Felica- Were two excellent twists that I did not see coming all in the episode. Each were a welcome surprise to the series. For me Nate/Carrie have gotten extremely lax and Will needed another good twist. Kudos Alan!

Megan- I was most surprised to see that she has been doing drugs to keep up with the twins overall I am excited about the direction that is taking. More so I was glad that it was Tyler that was revealed as her supplier and that Ash found out the truth by watching first hand.

Great episode Alan! I cannot wait till the next one.

Kelly

Hey Allan,

Fantastic episode all around, I thought. I absolutely love these big events where the entire cast gets together.

Shane/Greg/Kristen -- I loved having them trapped in the elevator together. So classic. Greg and Kristen making love was also staple. I wish they had more interaction before they jumped into bed with each other though. I saw it coming though.

Ashley/Tyler -- Honestly, this was the best you've ever done I think Allan. You had bulit up Tyler as a drug seller and at first I was thinking "who cares" ... but the fact that he is supplying Megan (a character we know and love) makes it all the more compelling and makes me care about the storyline more. Fantastic twist with that. Poor Ashley always seems to end up with the wrong men.

Will -- So interesting how his one night stand ends up being a married woman. Neat twist.

Felicia -- Whoa, did not see that coming with Nate and Carrie. Although did Nate really think that not answering his phone and being gone for more than an hour was SHORTER than getting pizza delievered? Carrie's not dumb.

Like I said before, I think this is some of your best work. Well done.
I am looking forward to the next episode.

d*

Thanks so much for all the feedback, guys!

This triangle is going to be the backdrop for the 100th episode/season finale, so this secret is going to bubble under for a while. Kelly, I find myself when writing this storyline unsure of who Kristen should ultimately end up with, if either of them; on paper, Greg is supposed to be the good guy with the best of intentions who always manages to screw things up for himself, but it always ends up coming across a little boring... working on adding some more layers to this story so there's more rooting value for both men as it's been all about Kristen so far. Shane shouldn't be the 'bad guy' as such, either...hopefully as this story gathers more pace there'll be more debate over who Kristen should end up with.

Dallas, there's more to this Tyler story to come. Megan isn't the only character he's connected to within this storyline. As the mystery unfolds, a few stories will intersect.

Leo/Natalie as endgame was never my intention, but the more I write, the more I find myself drawn to the prospect. There is a lot of material where those two are concerned, but I don't know if putting them together romantically, at least not straight away, is the right move. Stranger things have happened, though wink.gif

Okay, I put my hands up here...Kyle and Taylor's scenes were dropped in there at the last minute because I wanted everyone to be involved in this episode, and I've been prolonging writing their story this season. The original story I had planned for them, I dropped because there was already too much going on, so they've been kind of islanded in their own little story this season. Look for that to change, though.

The Felicia thing surprised even me! I cant take total credit for it, someone suggested it to me and I just kind of ran with it when I realized how many story options it opened up, you'll know what I mean as the rest of this season unfolds. You're right, Kelly, Nate and Carrie have been getting kind of lax, they needed a boost and this is not going to be another love triangle, I can promise you that. This is my favourite storyline going into next season, so I hope you'll enjoy what happens with it.

Again, thanks so much for leaving your feedback on this episode, guys, it is always truely appreciated and valued. This episode was something that took a lot of time to put together and get right, so I'm glad it was so well recieved! I hope you will all enjoy part 2...the lights going off was only the start of things!

This has to be the BEST episode of H&S ever written and produced! I loved everything about it.

MY favourite part is the Kristen/Greg hook up! They should truly be together and I hope they do end up together, though I have feelings she'll stay with Shane.

I honestly cannot wait for Part II though hope more shocking twists happen! Sorry my reply isn't THAT detailed. I feel bad about it.
