Possible Name Change

Hey everyone long time no see, in the last few weeks many people have refered to my series as if it were the old F&AD and with that being said I am thinking of changing F&AD's name. Tell me what you all think???

Rob-

I would never consider changing the name of your series based on a few people making a reference as to it being 'old' vs. 'new'. Some may not like the way that your series is going with the story line and plot and that may be where their comments are coming from. I think there is no one way to please every single person who leaves you feedback about where to take everyone in your series either.

I think you should ask yourself what you think Forever and A Day is as a series. Is it still the same show and same characters that you started with when you began? Do you still love writing for your cast? As long as the basic foundations of Forever and A Day are there I think you should keep them that way and not change the name.

Changing the name of a series I think that you are pretty involved in as far as episodes go ranging well into twenty plus episodes I think could be confusing to your audience. You run the risk of losing readers and a fan base I think.

I think that if you change the name, people will assume that its either a) a brand new series or that you have done an over-haul on the series, and it will be different.


I think Kelly said it best with the comments. People don't like the way stories have been played out. You won't please everybody.

Hey Rob,

Just my two cents: do not change the name of the series.

I have been a reader of your series pretty faithfully, and I think I have been pretty hard on you in certain times. That being said, i think you're really *finally* just gaining a real idea of who the characters are and where the plot lines are going. Changing something like the title of the series will alter the over all feel of the series and thus the characters and plots.

As Kelly pointed out, you will *never* please everyone. In fact, I think you should only aim to please yourself. As long as YOU are happy with your series, plots, characters, site (ect) that's all that really matters.

Hey Rob,

Please please please do not change the series name or anything about it. I'm in love with it all right now. Re-naming the series would be like changing it all together.

If anything, pull a Port Charles and create new series of episodes with sub-names so it's a different feeling, etc.

Sir i think you SHOULD change the name it's holding the show back this show is clearly the best on the network and headed for great things the name is holding the show back in my opinion
