"Hand On Your Heart", Episode 58

Episode 58, “Hand On Your Heart”, has been posted on the Spencer Street website.

In this episode:

• Brock and Isabelle struggle to cope following Caleb's death.
• Sarah's return shocks Spencer Street.
• Laura and Nick try to deal with the fallout from their one-night stand.
• Tension builds between Chelsea and April.
• Paige fears for Hamish's safety.

Darren this was really a great wake up call...this was my first "current" episode and I was really stoked to read it. If you don't mind me saying it would be nice if you could link the character. I had to go back and forth to see who's who while I was reading. I apologize if my comments are a little short...I need to catch myself up...I just like starting with the current episode then I'll go back research when I come to a block. I really enjoyed this episode I think I picked a good time to jump in.

Isabelle/Brock

I never lost a child before...I mean I never really had a child. But their scenes showed that I didn't want to experience that feeling. I also like the fact that they experienced pain in separate places. Both parents had very very high hopes for their son and I just hate to see them go through this terrible pain...I wonder what the future will bring for this couple.
After Jack and Isabelle's scene I think they may be my favorite new siblings of this series.


Darren please forgive me for having such a short feedback but this was the only storyline that I was able to quickly pick up on...though I am eager to find out more about Georgia and what's going on with her...bare with me I'll be up to part in a while...I'm so glad your back!!

Thanks for the feedback and your comments weren't short at all The linking character names to their profiles is something I'll certainly do next episode - anything to make it easier for the reader

I've never lost a child either - and pray that I, nor anyone else ever would - so this part of the Brock/Isabelle storyline is totally trial and error. In my head I know what I want to convey and hopefully that pain, heartbreak, trauma and angst will come across in the episodes, but also at the same time I don't want the story to be seen as a dramatised cop out by anyone who has lost a child (not that I see this being a big a deal as if it was on television, if you know what I mean). But hopefully it's something people will find interesting, entertaining and heartbreaking to read.

As for Georgia..my lips are sealed.

ohmygawd ... I had missed SS more than I realized. I am so glad you are back Darren!

Nick/Laura -- Perfect scene. It was weird and it totally came across that way ... it was clear that they have feelings for each other and trying to beat around the bush of having another encounter is what they both wanted, but neither one wanted to admit it. Such a great scene, by far my favorite of the episode. Well done!

Sarah -- It's so great to have her back. I just love how everything out of her mouth was bitchy. It was fun to have her back in the mix of things.

Chloe/Nicole/Landon -- Chloe's reaction was curious. I am interested to see more about how she is feeling, especially towards Landon. I am glad to see Nicole getting more scene time, I always felt she was kinda under used.

Paige/Brock -- Their scene was so intense! I couldnt believe how cold Brock was towards Hamish. Such a riveting scene though. I understood Paige more than Brock, although it is natural that he would blame Hamish for everything that happened. You surprised me with the police station too. It'll be interesting to see where Hamish is and how he is coping.

Isabelle/Brock -- It's interesting to see how they are coping. Jack and Isabelle's scene was touching. She is seemingly in a sad, distract phase right now, where as I sense Brock is more angered. The Paige/Brock scene was the most interesting for me.

April/Ronan -- Wow! I couldnt believe that Ronan professed his love for APril AT HER HOME WHERE SEAN WAS! It's sort of like she had to choose on the spot between the two. Interesting dynamics. It'll be curious to see how he reacts when APril gets back.

I'm so glad SS is back. I reallyr ealized that while I was reading.

Darren I was so stoked to see this today when I got online and had time to sit down and read! Welcome back after your brief hiatus!

Nick/Laura -- I love the build that you are giving this couple on the show they are quickly climbing to another couple I love on SS.

Sarah -- What can I say to this other than the bitch is back let the games begin.

Chloe/Nicole/Landon -- This was a very interesting development for me. I had a very hard time at first to warm up to Nicole but I found this beyond perfect! Needless to say you have caught my attention here for sure.

Paige/Brock -- I was really blown away by these scenes given how distant and unfeeling Brock seemed over the situation. I also was moved by Paige's shock and concern as well. The scene at the police station was a wonder set up to see where it goes.

Isabelle/Brock -- The entire storyline with them is heart wrenching on a personal level for me. Given that I have to give a shout out and kudos to how you are writing a couple dealing with the loss of a child.

April/Ronan/Sean -- For fans of April/Ronan they were awesome scenes. I felt horrible for April and by extension Sean for Roman's outburst that being said. I'm still not sure I want April back with Ronan yet given what happened with Sarah!

Awesome episode and look forward to the next one as always!

First of all let me say that I have missed SS so much. Welcome back!!!!

I will try to read the episode later today, or sometime tomorrow (depending on my time). I will be back to post feedback later on.

Ah Nick and Laura, the couple that should be together but can’t be. It’s an interesting little journey this pair goes on and I think is probably one of the most honest and genuine relationships that has ever been showcased on the series. Laura really loves her husband but he’s never around and so Nick fills the void. Due to the current circumstances of both characters, there’s a lot of guilt and ups and downs and it’s a story that I hope you’ll both rather enjoy. It’s certainly one of the stories I’m most proud of. A definite favourite at the moment.

The bitch is back and she’s going to shake Spencer Street up like never before. As I’ve alluded to in other threads, there are massive things coming up for Sarah that will change not only her life but dramatically alter many of those around her. But just what it is that Sarah does, well, I’m keeping that golden nugget a secret for now.

Chloe is lost. Everything around her is changing at the speed of light and she’s still trying to come to terms with everything. She’s lost so much and now it appears as though she’s losing Nicole to Logan. This is the beginning of the end for Chloe. She’s crumbling at an incredibly fast rate and soon she’ll be gone…

As for Nicole’s scene time, expect to see much more of her – much more! Her big story kicks off in London and it is one that will shake the very foundations of what remains of the Goodwin family…again.

I don’t know what to say about Hamish without giving the game away. All I can say is you’ll have to read the very last scene of episode 60...and then wait with abated breath for a couple of weeks to see what happens while the action switches to London.

Thanks Kelly, it’s nice to hear and hopefully the rest of what I’ve written delivers for you. I’ve tried so very hard to do this story justice, but having never even come close to experiencing anything like this, it’s all a bit of fake it ‘til you make it.

Brock and Isabelle will come out of the darkness and will do so together. However, something much darker and evil could be at play behind the scenes. There’s more to this tragedy than initially meets the eye.

Dallas who says you’ll have to wait until April gets back from London to see something go down between her and Ronan

Just be watching what happens in London – the Sinclair family is about to be blown out of the water…big time and things will never be the same again.
